I swear that our puppy Great Dane Maxine, might want to be a donkey. The dog has grown quickly, at just about a year old and over 100 pounds, Max is a giant ball of energy who likes nothing better than to run straight to the back of the property and into the donkey pens.
The Dane Who Wants To Be a Donkey
See, Max the puppy Great Dane is no ordinary puppy. Raised with our family and by her mentor Quincy Dane the sailing Great Dane, Max the puppy has turned into an inquisitive ball of energy who likes nothing better than to go do donkey stuff.
Drink water from the donkey water troughs- check
Try to eat their hay while they’re feeding- check
Chase the 400+ pound donkeys around the yard with their own toys- check
Nip the donkeys to make sure they are paying attention to her- check
Run from the donkey who will expend the energy to full speed chase her- check
So yeah, I’m pretty convinced that my puppy Great Dane actually might wanna be a donkey. Check out the pics to decide for yourself:
It’s been more than a month since we’ve posted. Why have we become sporadic and we’re not posting on our usual schedule? Well, we’ve had our hands full. In the vein of slow travel, we’ve been working on the adventure base, bought a full electric truck so we could test it out and ground truth our findings to you- report on travel and towing to you directly for the source (us), we’ve taken off for trips to donkey race, mini-vacays and I’ve been working hard to start ultramarathon training again.
