We’ve had a number of Great Danes over the years and acquired a Mexican street kitty in Oaxaca, Mexico. But since returning to the US our animal family has grown, allowing everyone in the house to have their choice of pet (within limits).
So, in keeping with the spirit of Quincy’s Corner on Sundays, we wanted to give our animals a chance to say “Merry Christmas and Happy New Years”.
Hazard Macaroni, the newest member of the family. He’ll transition to “Danger Macaroni” when he grows up.Shoutout from Death Noodle, (a rescue) one of our Ball Pythons. Loki (a rescue) came to us from the local animal shelter where we volunteer. He’s a great addition to the family, able to chill and not worry too much about the puppy.And I can’t do a proper animal shout out without including the original Mexican street cat…Oreo.Princessa Oreo on one of her boat thrones.The terror then. Maxine at 5 weeks old.The Terror now. Maxine and Buttercup go nose to nose for the first time. She’s 6 months old and knows no fear. Like all Great Danes, Max still likes to lay on beds and tear things up when bored.La Reina. She’s come a long way from boat then bus, to finally end up here at Adventure Base Ranch. AND an energy difference.Our newest additions to the family, Miki and Buttercup. Miki is black (foreground) and Buttercup is grey (background).
