The 2022 Marine Corps Birthday was Thursday 10-November and Veterans Day was yesterday, probably to be celebrated in different ways throughout this weekend. Even as a website created and curated/written on a sailboat, we slow down to make sure we get a Veterans Day post out when and where we can. This is why you won’t see a 2019 post…because we were underway and had no internet connection!
We always do a happy USMC Birthday because many of our friends and family are US Marines or other Armed Forces veterans and my dad is a USMC Combat Veteran. Happy Birthday! Within the family, both of my grandfathers were veterans and my father-in-law, my dad, my uncle and my wife are all veterans who deployed in support of overseas operations. I guess it runs in the family. So Happy Veterans Day to all.
