After numerous talks and soul searching, we’ve decided to put Tulum-5 up for sale. She is for sale now and she’s just come out on Yachtworld. After lengthy discussions with our broker here in Panama and thinking through considerations with our kids, we came to the conclusion that the timing for her sale was right and she is in perfect condition to sell at a fair price. We’re not swallowing the anchor yet….as we’re actively looking for another sailboat. As an added bonus, a sailboat with a different configuration will give us the easy ability to have guests onboard more often, with their own berth and perhaps their own head.
Here’s my story from last summer when we put her on sale: Tulum V Is For Sale
