Happy 4th of July, 2024-
I hope you are great on this uniquely American Holiday. This will be our second 4th of July holiday back in the US since we sold Tulum. This year the holiday is on a Thursday, so we’re off work but I’ll have to work the weekend, so we can’t really go anywhere very far. Such is life.
Happy Holiday, I hope you stay cool and safe.
What more can I say? I’ve spent various 4th of July days on beer soaked party beaches, working because I had to, amongst small gatherings while in very remote countries and while sitting anchored off white sand beaches on our cruising sailboat. And no matter what, I always decide my favorite place to be is at home with family and friends; with a great meal and an appreciation for how blessed we are to have our freedoms here in this country.
