Why The F#$K Are The Bottom of My Shoes White?

This is a post about Lessons Learned on Boats:  If you don’t want to learn something new….don’t read further:

Lesson for today:  When painting a deep bilge on a boat….(any boat)…you may want to give it 24 hours to dry and provide a fan and ventilation.  Or this will happen to you:

Yep, I painted my DEEP Bilge and then gave it all day and all night to dry.  (without remembering to turn on a fan).  The next morning I jumped in the bilge to start a second coat…and everything was pretty much still wet.  It was a messy morning….need I say more? 

Lesson Learned.
