This month Tulum’s been getting work done that should have been done ages ago…but we’re just now either finding it or in a position to get it done. The craftmanship is remarkable but we’re paying for things to get done correctly and professionally….especially important things like chain plates and rigging. My bet is that our current chain plates are at least 20 years old if not original to the boat…but it was definitely high time to get them professionally redone and get new standing rigging as well. Glad we did it, I’ll cover both projects in detail in further posts.
